Ovi has the *potential* to be the best thing about the N97. Ovi is Nokia's biggest challenge of the last 10 years. If they get it right, they will keep their position as the number one smartphone manufacturer. Get it wrong, and they'll loose that dominance within 2 years. Just one small point about iPhone dev. The tools provided by Apple to all iPhone developers are probably just about the best of any computing platform currently available. It's not just hype and good marketing. No amount of hype would generate 31,000 apps in less then 1 year. I agree… but with a twist!

Ovi is Nokia’s biggest challenge of the last 10 years. If they get it right, they will keep their position as the number one smartphone manufacturer. Get it wrong, and they’ll loose that dominance within 2 years.
