Sawatdee Khrab! This video shows a variant of the N97 for Thailand, complete with Thai keyboard.  You can also see Ovi Maps being played about with, looking quite fast and smooth scrolling through the map by sliding the finger over the screen. Unfortunately we still do not the continuity of fluid sliding in the main menu. The user attempts to scroll down the menu by flicking but gives up and uses the scroll bar on the side.

Even though the Nokia N900/Rover/Next Internet Tablet (which apparently does standard GSM voice calls) has just been leaked suggesting amazing specifications users wanted from the N97 (but didn’t get in the N97, like better processor, 3D graphics acceleration/more RAM/Higher Resolution Screen, perhaps even a capacitive screen) I’m still excited about getting the N97. There’s a whole Symbian S60 5th edition and Apps that I’d miss out on by going the “N900” route. Although there are also some great Apps for Maemo, for a while, it’s not going to have as much support as Nokia is pouring onto the N97 and S60.
