Clue Number 5: Search For N…
Thank you very much for following the journey with us to the Search For N…
I’ve been overwhelmed with how everyone’s been working together, helping each other out, sharing ideas, hints (haha and answers). But now that may change to looking after number one as today marks the arrival of the 5th and final clue!
You get this clue (provided you’ve also got the others) and you’ll be given the location of where a Nokia N97 has been hidden!
The clue hasn’t been posted yet [08:00 GMT], but watch this space. I’m writing this up early as I can envision something going wrong with my internet connection at the most inappropriate of moments. I’ll just stick in the final clue when it arrives.
The 5th clue is coming and I’ll update this post accordingly.

Use Ovi maps, I think thats will be more correctly…
You are right!!! Ovi maps is returning different locations!! What the heck is going on???
let`s just say the nokia and googles use diffrent satellite`s

they should be the same for everything map

Please convert degrees to decimals correctly – Otherwise people will end up in someone elses backyard .. or the ocean.

Oh no what have I done?? I have given wrong locations!! Well missed a negative sign for the West coordinate!!! SORRY!

MANCHESTER N HAS BEEN FOUND, just turned up and someone was just leaving with it!!!! We must have been 2nd people there! Gutted. I have taken pictures of the area and left a note saying it has been found.
Carp! I’m in the South East, Too far from London and waaay too far from the others.
oxford has been found. I got here on time but like the rest of you i couldnt find anything. I’d try digging but the ground looks too worn. Can anyone post on here when they’ve found them please?
Ps. When you say to take a pic and email it, where do we know it is? There’s no evidence of anything. I’m gutted-from hemel it oxford for nothing! I got the 5th clue straight away and was sat there refreshing the page. Gutted. Long drive home. Think i’ll get a sony instead.
Ha! I keyed the co-ordinates into my Nokia maps and ironically it took me to the wrong place!
Advice: never use Nokia maps to navigate – it gets everything wrong!

my thoughts exactly. its a bit of a let down after all that build up. my eye is on the new sony now nokia have upset me. (well, not nokia but you know what i mean!)
All those riddles and clues though. It gave the impression that there would be some fairness or skill involved.
Instead we were treated basically to a first come first served situation wiping out half the people who cannot get their due to work commitments or who simply cannot travel.
On one hand I think it has helped, great PR exercise, to drum up a load of publicity.
On the other hand, it’s left a bitter pill in my mouth. The whole thing sounds, not a sham as such, but just completely unfair. I wouldn’t have minded if I actually had the chance to actually attempt to get one!
i was not working today… and yet when i got to the coordinates there was a man just getting in his car WITH THE N IN HIS HANDS!!!!
he had a suit an tie on, looked like he had just left work! he must have been working closer than what i live to the location. dam.

I found the Manchester one, forgot to take pictures etc, was too much in shock from actually finding the thing…can’t believe I was first :O)
HAHA… so that was you?? i cant believe we turned up and you was sat there holding it!!! grrr, there was alot of traffic getting out from were i live, if i had set off earlier!!
if it’s any concellation, I’d been there a while, first hunting then on the phone :O) (N had a number to ring on it).

I found the Birmingham one.
Spent hours wondering round some nettles and a golf course by a lake before google earth gave me the correct lat/long position.
where was it and what time did u find it, I want looking for ages
found the birmingham one at the boldmere park in sutton coldfield at the northeast end of the lake, under a hedge behind a bench.
Got there by 3.30 but didnt get the n until 6.
agghhh i didn’t get there till 6.30 AAAGGGHHH was there till 8 looking for it and then checked online and it said it was found. all cus my pc at work didn’t let my type in the last clue, else would might have got there first.
