Congratulations Search For N Winners!
So – the Search for N is over and they have been found! Which hidden N were you looking for?

Random field - an N was apparently here.
I went for the “Cardiff” one, of which, the coordinates gave me: Abergavenny. I actually used google maps to find it – which was so the wrong option. It gave me the vague whereabouts a field, but not the precise location I needed. Sad to say, someone found it about a minute after I had eventually located where the “Welsh” N was hidden. Having said that, t was still better than what the N82 did, which was to give me a location 22 miles in the wrong direction (some fuss about inability to put the required number of coordinates).
Winning an N or not, it was really exciting . I wasn’t sure I got on the right train, or was getting at the right stops. I wrongly wore shorts today – wrongly because I climbed over a wall and landed onto a bed of stingy nettles – although right now it feels like micro massages. I also shouldn’t have asked the other random people in the field if they saw a big red silver N and said that it was part of a treature hunt. Hehe.
As far as I know, all the N’s have been found. Commiserations to those who were really close but narrowly missed out. Hope you took picture of where the N should have been so you could get still get a chance of getting your hands on a Nokia N97 (trial).
- The two London N’s were both found by thereallymobileproject members, Ben and James. Congrats guys! Christian from worldofnokia also narrowly missed out twice in his search for the London N’s.
- Jerome Rankin, Oxford
- Lee Archer, Manchester
- Dean Philips, Birmingham
- Karl Jenkens, Cardiff
- David Summers, New Forest

Train to Abergavenny

Maps screenshot - N82 unable to input all 8 coordinates, so had t o use google maps which put me out by about 40metres? I think I walked past it but was found a couple minutes later.
I’ll update with the names of the winners when I find them (have to dash as I have a dinner party to cook for
).

I was gonna go for the welsh one, I too had the field, where actually was it then???
The ‘New Forest’ N was found by a friend of mine David Summers. I would have gone for it myself, but I had no transport. I gave him print outs of satellite imagery and a link for Maps on his Nokia N95 8GB and off he went. One hour later he had found it. I believe he arrived about 10 minutes before someone else.
All-in-all in was a lot of fun. Thanks to WOM for organising it and thanks to you Jay for covering it.
so what about us guys, making all this great stuff possible, working our socks off, to pay those taxes that enable this country to be.
We have to wait till we finish work…to work on the clues that we have slaved over for the past week, to find out on the final day they have already been had! Grrrr at this competition! Awsome really, just dissapointed at your timing.
thanks for the oportunity guys. even dispite you inability to reward me, for my didication to the N!
