N900 was the star – it was just so great to post about. There are so many exciting things that I have to share about it. With my N97, whenever anyone asked “so, is that phone any good”, my response ALWAYS lacked enthusiasm – I couldn’t find something that it did better than another phone (except maybe opening). And not just better, quite a few things it lacked in the standard of other smartphones.

N900 met those standards and then some. Totally loving the near desktop experience like browser, super fast, smooth OS with no lag (it kills me every time I pick up N97 and see lags still with new firmware) intense multitasking, fantastic divx playback, and brilliantly customizable homescreen, the ability for great looking 3D games (though we only really have one)….so many other things! …ahh.

The whole N900/Maemo 5 experience is just so much greater than the sum of the feature lists. Yes there’s room for improvement, as in everything, but not so that in interferes with enjoying its use (unlike S60V5, man that double tap to open folders suck!). Anywhoo…rant over.
