Last Sunday, Symbian unleashed their roadmap giving details of multicore powered Symbian^5 and Symbian^6 OS. We got a glimpse of the progress of Symbian on touch screens with Symbian^3 UI video. It went Viral on youtube, shooting up to the most viewed as it demonstrated a very promising future for Symbian with features such as multitouch, coverflow and visual multitasking.

Nokia weren’t at MWC but they were still in Barcelona this week. Together with Intel, Nokia made a big announcement which became a trending topic on twitter. The Intel and Nokia partnership has borne yet another fruit as Intel’s Moblin OS and Nokia’s Maemo OS were announced to be fusing into one ÃœBER OS called MeeGo!

Ovi Maps 3.03 got reviewed and there’s 10 reasons on why it’s freakin Brilliant. Steve Litchfield and quite a few of you seem to agree too.

Then the rest of the week is pretty much N900, first with a video to show how to get BBC iPlayer working flawlessly within the browser [MicroB browser is mindblowing!]. Some stunning games were announced as coming soon to Ovi Store, with a breathtaking 3D Roller Coaster Rush Jurassic and a mesmerising Zen Bound. There was also a rather sneaky firmware upgrade to 3.2010.02-08 – sneaky as in no one seems to know what the changes are. The things I’ve noticed, I’m putting down to trick of the mind/wiping N900 with reset.

Finally from the N900 and for this week, an absolutely stupendous application called Morpho QuickPanorama; a super easy to use Camera App that lets you take, not only Panoramic photos but 1080 degrees and beyond! The images produced are also very pleasing, considering the little effort you need to put in making the Panoramic shot.

Oh yeah – Nokia World 2010 is in LONDON! If you’re planning on attending, keep the dates (or even the week) of 14th and 15th September free on your diary.
