gnacio, I solved my problem by pairing the keyboard with another phone. For instance, I have a nokia 5800. I downloaded the software for the 5800, paired and tested the keyboard with it. Worked fine.

I am also having te same problem as priscilla and Keith Plumb and Bruno, same firmware V10.
Any help available??

If anybody could give me a hand on this. I have the Su-8W keyboard and the N900, but I can’t seem to get them to work.

Just for the record, I’m using the latest firmware, which is V10.2010.19-1.

When I search for bluetooth devices the SU-8W shows up and I pair it. It’s show now in my devices list and also as a trusted device. However, the bluetooth icon on the keyboard continues to blink blue as if it is not paired. And when I try to manually tell the phone to connect with the keyboard, I can’t. Under the device there is no connect key.. it only has a disconnect button but it’s not available.

Please help me on getting the keyboard to work with the n900.

I have the same trouble as Bruno and must of the explanations of how to enable HID may as well be encryted for all the sense that I can make of them. A simple tutorial is definitely required. Or maybe a simple ap that turns the HID function on.

Now i can pair the devices, but it does not recognize the keyboard when I type. It’s paired, but i can’t type. I think i have to configure the bluetooth.

Can somebody make an easy tutorial??? the big problem is that i’m not familiarized with linux. I never did nothing in the x terminal. What’s the first steps?

All you do is find the SUW8 on N900, choose a code (say just “0″) on the N900 and type “0″ on the SUW8. Note, to activate secondary keys on SUW8 you must press Fn button first. Otherwise it thinks you’re typing P as the code and it won’t pair.

Also you must be on the latest firmware for N900. 3.2010.02-8
