Yes I’m aware that the hardware backspace button goes back a page in web browser.

But I’m talking about when you’re browsing with just the touch screen.

There are TWO ways to get the same carousel view:

1. Back Button
2. Swiping from the right side of the screen in a left direction.

There does not need to be TWO ways of going back, especially when there are occasions of mispressed links – I just want to go to the previous page. I don’t want to have to keep on opening and closing just to go back.

If I wanted to have the carousel history view, I’d do the swipe gesture.

Um, when I click backspace on the keyboard it goes back a page. Good enough for me.

you do realise that pressing backspace on the keyboard goes back to the previous page, that’s why the back button does something different!
