My Future Nokia #FutureNokia @WOMWorldNokia doodle

Last week, WOMWorld were asking for your future Nokia and had a competition to give away some very nifty SWAG!!!

I didn’t enter it as dissertation needed doing. Yes, I would have much preferred to have been doodling Nokia phones.

This is not an entry as it’s closed, but I found this doodle it in my “should have been revising but did this” instead pile of random doodles. (There were some other Nokia designs but they had notes and shopping lists going across them)

Anyway here’s myfuturenokia.

It’s basically just an edgeless super slim, credit card sized touch screen.

There’s somewhat of a 3D hologramy delay thing going on there.

This is my cluttered desktop view with Ovi Maps Super 3D with holographic 3D landmarks and hovering signs

Video calling simultaneously in desktop view. The person’s supposed to be in in front of London eye.

Realistically in 10 years maybe the touch screen will have buttons that automatically raise to give real kinetic feedback or at least a feel where those keys are.

The design could even scale up as a tablet. By then, someone will have made a 1″ border that isn’t affected when you’re holding it so we don’t get those ugly bezels.

It’s a bit boring, basically it’s just a screen. Isn’t that an inevitability that all phones will just be a slab of touch coloured rectangular glass?

The far future I’m looking at the SYMBIOTIC phone – machine and man. Just think and you make a call.

In 10 years, maybe Nokia will somehow discover how to put super xenon onto something this slim. And a micro reactor core for lifetime battery :p.
