Tether via cable or share your 3G data over Wifi with apps like JoikuSpot (free). The wire btw is any old Micro-USB cable (nokia's or any generic micro USB cable) I often use tethering on N97/N900. When home net goes down, uni net blocks access or when faced with stupid internet prices at hotels. Great too when bringing laptop to the park - haha. V easy to connect to the internet. This is a very USEFUL feature that Nokia should really push. So often at Uni I've had to find a freaking free computer (I never bring my laptop, it's much too big) just so I can get files from my friends USB stick over to mine. Another great thing is if you have an external hard drive full of movies. No need to ever transfer anything to N8 if you want to hook your N8 up via HDMI! Lastly - imagine transferring thousands of photos/hours of videos to external hard drive. Back up your files instantly without computer. Perfect when on holiday, blogging on the go at events. Yup! This is a very USEFUL feature that Nokia should really push.
