Pic: What's next to my N82? N8 vs N82 thickness. :)
Hey All! Half way through exams at the moment. Just finished one and am having my Nokia Blogging fix just before I continue revision again.
Today I want to share this pic so you could sort of get an appreciation for how slim the Nokia N8 (which is lined up next to my N82)
Check out how far we’ve now come to having such a fantastic camera squeezed into such a relatively petite phone.
It’s no ordinary camera – it has the biggest sensor of any phone camera and bigger than some digital cameras – and it still sports my ever favourite XENON flash.
The only flash worth having.
Note though that this is a very, very, very early N8.
There is a slight angle distortion, but if both were laid flat on the table (due to protruding buttons of N8 keypad) this photo would be a fair representation.

I think in terms of build quality the N8 is very weak and the design is good 80% not more if this product will be definitely it will be a biggest disappointment for we as Nokia fans, thous edges are really bad and making the N8 look ugly, so Nokia improve this issue immediately
The seams are very off putting. And that screw.
However this is a very, very, very early N8. Much earlier than any other N8 seen online.
It has improved a bit since and there may be further aesthetic changes in the final product according to Nokia Design chief. Fingers crossed anyway.

I want to see some screensnap of the new symbian when it is available. The new threaded sms. Is the zoom bar gone? New attractive icons and theme out of box? New email ui?

I hope that N8 will be monster of multimedia .Before 4 month I wrote a e-mail to nokia that I request a very similar specification as N8 have for next monster multimedia. I hope that nokia have to understand that battery should be 1500mAh, and easy options for camera flash should fire at ISO 200-400 max not like in N82 in ISO 800, HD video recoding with 30f/s and 15MB/s bit rate minimum-with auto focus,and lower resolution WVGA (848×480)30f/s, and in Gallery to separate image from videos and option for making a folder for image/video.

While the screen looking fantastic, sure a a bit here and there it shows like an early prototype. You made an interesting point unknowingly, Nokia N8 doesn’t seem to be that big in size
