Well, I for one must tell you that NOT ALL AMERICANS like or believe Jobs and all of his nonsense. That is one thing people from Europe and Asia must realize. Yes, he does make it seem like "he" invented everything and orchestrates every product introduction as a big production. His arrogance is nauseating. What gives this appearance of "all Americans" believe what he says is the journalist and bloggers of the various tech sites (Gizmodo, Engadget, BoyGenius...etc) who covet these products and hang on his every word. Not to mention the all of the Mac sites. They are the ones who perpetuate this belief. As for this iPhone 4, it is a nice looking device and I'm sure will outsell the previous iteration of iPhone. Do I want one?? Absolutely not. Me and my N900 are doing just fine thanks... I've been a Blackberry faithful for 4 yrs up until just a few of months ago. People who buy his (Apple) products are usually repeat "offenders". Meaning, they own more than one Apple product whether it be their third or 4th iPhone or iPod, iPads and Mac. I detest a closed system (people telling you how to use the phone YOU just bought) and thus will never own an iPhone. The whole iPhone video calling is a joke as it only allows iPhone to iPhone video calling... Again, closed minded and FAIL!!

If they dont wow me with the N8 like they did with the N95, I wont buy a Nokia ever again, and I hope they stick with low to mid range phone, because they are #1 because of this segment.

@ John. Haha, this is what I was referring to when I mentioned "stealing slogans" in a previous rant. I took that as an awesome compliment - it is all about Nokia, thanks Scary looking Scott.

Not sure about the term sixaxis which sort of came up.

Andre :

They are so laid back when it comes to their competition making fallacious comments that it truly irks me. For once I’d like to see them step up and beat someone to the ground because they’ve made certain claims.
Anywho….No more matches today

I know, and what's more frustrating, there's nothing anyone else can do about it. They dodge between truth and lies so carefully, it's like watching the sleeziest lawyer get an obviously guilty person scott free. For the iSheep masses who believe Jobs blindly (and not buy into iPhone out of actual solid reasons)is kinda like visiting a mental hospital and all the patients calling you insane.

They could have released the iPhone 4 as a 3GS with a sticker of Steve jobs on the back and it would still sold equally well if not better.

By just adding a front facing camera and no other feature it would still have technically become the BEST iPhone ever. But that's cos there wasn't much to improve on.

Oh. and Nokia should be more aggressive when they promote their products. And by aggressive I mean, to tell the people that their products are better that others.

Plus yes, same what Tony Cruz said. They need to show that they care about customers(N97- fail / N900- not supporting meego). Nokia has a strong brand. place 5 in the world and #1 in phone business. They need to show the world that they deserve that place.

I have to agree with you. Still this is showbiz . And in order to succeed in USA you need to lunch thing big. Put some hot girls in the tv ads. make a nice presentation. Invent fancy words. I'm from Europe , but I have a small business who targets people from europe and usa and I have to say that I need to use different approaches to promote my products on this 2 different markets.
Yes , Apple are doing their best on promoting their products, inventing special words, plus they tell the masses what they can do with every feature that's inserted in a phone, inventing magical words so that people feel special :)) I know it sounds crazy but this is a thing that can sell very good, and I'm not talking just about phones. If you make the customer to feel special because he bought a product from you, it's more than a win situation. It doesn't matter if your products are good or bad.

I agree with you in most of the things ,with the exception of one.
1st of all let me say that i was one of the first people in
UK having a iphone 2g and then 3g and i am now the proud owner of a Nokia N900.
However there's one thing i have to give Iphone full points...the apps.
And let me explain.....With Nokia we have all this problem if it's good for the N98 its no good for the N900 etc etc...that really pisses me off.
I hate when i go to some app and i get the stupid message (NOT FOR THE N900)
C'mon gimme a break....
Dont you agree with me on that?
All the rest...I just have to say...Nokia rules.
