Video: Nokia N8 Scratch Test with Shiny Media
Thanks to Gomez for the heads up. I thought this was going to be pretty much the same hands on we’ve seen but here we see the N8 under go a scratch test.
The N8 is “scratched” with a pound coin, but due to being anodized aluminium you can just rub away any scuffs or marks as the colour is anodized to the metal and NOT painted on. The glass front screen will most likely resist scratches too.
It’s also interesting that Shiny Media folks mention
“the front facing camera, which like Apple’s FaceTime let’s you make video calls”.
Like iPhone? Like iPhone?
I have NO idea what the camera person is doing with the zoom.
Another interesting point is that because of the non easily removable battery, to reboot the device you’ll need to hold down the power button for a force restart.
The guy here says 30 seconds, previous N8 folk have said N8. Maybe 30 seconds is the entire restart time?
Hmm, I’m really sold on this Black/Dark Grey N8 now.
