iPhone owners look away now, here is an interesting look at the Nokia N8 being compared to the Samsung Omnia HD doing PROPER multitasking. I have got to admit the Samsung’s multitasking is pretty funky

I think Samsung uses some third-party application on Android, called task manager.
What has this article got to do with Android? OmniaHD runs Symbian S60 5th ed.
Haha Gerii you beat me to it
ok. I thought Samsung Omnia was Android phone. I didn’t pay much attention to other phones like Samsung.
Nokia’s engineers need to learn a lot how to make better UI.
Android? That is SYMBIAN.
That wasnt a multitasking comparison. That was a comparison of the UI on the task manager!
Testing the muktitasking is seing how many apps a device can run and how many the other can run… Fail at that title
its still a comparison
Sorry John, diogonev is accurate in his statement!
I like how the Omnia has the OPTION of Grid or 3D view…choices are nice!!
Exactly right diogonev. This is NOT a comparison of multitasking. We already know the actual multitasking being even better in Symbian^3 due to many internal changes.
i think how it looks is not that important. Software wise, S^3 is definitely better than S60.
Software aside, samsung’s hardware deserves to be be admired. First 8mp camera, first amoled, first 3.7 incher for general market, hummingbird, 4 inch super amoled. there is no argument that samsung is leading the industry in hardware battle.
I really would like to see the N9 with some groudbreaking hardware.
