New Nokia C7 pictures surface
Whoa what have Nokia’s Industrial designers been smoking lately, seriously look at those pictures !!!!
This phone reminds me of the Nokia E72. Seriously the designers from the Cseries took some tips form the guys form the Eseries and added some better materials. As a Industrial student myself this makes me excited 
I mean this C7 with the X3 touch and type and the Nokia N8 are all desirable devices in terms of industrial design and it seem like Nokia are on a roll there aren’t they now lets hope the N9 continues with that tradition……
EDIT : Eldar Murtazin has opened his mouth again and leaked some specs of the device on twitter they go as follows:
- €300 Euros
- 8 Megapixel camera
- 8 Gb internal memory
- 3,5 nDH inch(glass screen) metal around body and back cover as well
- He likes it more than the N8 (mmmhhhh very interesting……..)

I read somewhere that the design of the C7 is sourced from Foxconn by Nokia.

WOW! Look at that Stereo Speakers! They should be pretty loud! Although the placing isn’t very smart as its at the bottom……..
Well, be it who ever, I always thought that N8 was a looker. Now this looks pretty pro after N900. Or is it the whisky that has slipping…
even if it were, it looks like an elongated e72/71 with that metal chin, simple and elegant
Yes, yes, yes. A damned good looking one. I want to grab it at once. I’ve seen some more pictures here: http://dailymobile.se/2010/08/18/pictures-nokia-c7/nokia-c7-01/. Badly, the battery-type is not really readable – I guess 1200 mA. It seems that the SD-Card-Slot is not accessable without taking out the battery. I hope the C7 uses an Amoled-Display, but the pictures show only washed out colours. Can’t wait to get more information.

I have said it before somewhere, but I think Nokia want to get the less important announcements out of the way before making the N9 announcement huge, Remember the C7 still hasn’t been officially announced yet so I am guessing just before Nokia world or during it we will have to wait and see…
hmmm.. strange but I don’t like the design to this phone. specially the bottom , but it seems that a lot of people might like it.

Thanks. So, Eldar does not seem to be so lucky about this phone, even he likes it more than N8. He announced a preview on next monday, but anyway, we know his point of view. Whatever he will say – I will decide between C7 and N8 when they are available. With a tendency to C7 – it’s looking so great and the specs are matching my needs perfectly.

It uses AMOLED, support multi-touch. It should be s3.
The three little dots at the bottom of the screen are a give-away that its Symbian^3. They are for showing which workspace you are on.

I take it that the slide out qwerty Symbian^3 device will most likely be the E7 now?
I suspect the Eldar said he liked C7 better than N8, because he indirectly is trying to plant confusion in people’s mind that they should wait till C7 gets out, so people don’t buy N8, which again indirectly affects Nokia. So it is his way of
hurting nokia, atleast a try.
C7 can not be better than N8. I can confirm it from Chinese comments and ratings. Eldar is a liar …

3,3 inch! great device anyway, cam 8mpx but focal lengh only 4,3
Micro SB can be used for battery charging.
It supports WLAN, bluetooth, FM transmiter. Micro SD is under battery. Preinstalled social and video call client. 3 home screes support 6 areas which can be infinite iterations, task manager is relocated so better to do handle multitasks.
ARM11 700MHz CPU. Performance is the best among N97, N97mini, C6, 5230 etc …
any news on the GPU?

No mention about it. I guess it doesn’t use GPU. It said it was not quite ready. The pictures don’t look so great as 8 Mega camera.

This is an early prototype.
I also think. it’s nice but no so nice. and it looks like they can refurnish a little more. specially on the back.
I think it will be really slim for a qwerty device and will have 8MP camera.
If they can release this before Christmas it will be nice. if not then will have to wait a lot just like it happen to N8.

Believe me the final version will be much much better looking both hardware and software. It will be full metal, I assure.
And N8 is a family. We will see a series of N8 products this and next year.
someone thinks it will have n 1280 X 780 resolution . it it turns out that it’s real it will be a really cool.
Screen resolution can be much better than N8 but camera might not be that good as the N8…
resolution must be equal or better than N900 (800×480) . I hope it’s better. on the Chinese forums people talked about a possible release on the 48 week of the year. that means somewhere in the end of November. If it’s real that Nokia can win a lot. we shall see.
Price of C7 should be less than or close to 300 euro.
N9 Meego and N8 QWERTY version are set for christmas sales. The preorders should be ready around early Dec. So I think late November is reasonable for these product PR times.
What is the resolution. That’s one of the few things I do not know yet.
Hmm, I ain’t seeing none of the descripted devices above in either news nor shop.
This phone looks great, big buzz about it in the article marketing world. Anyway, Nokia seems to be on the right track.
i have got one thing to say: the wait is killing me.
