Holy crap, just got some heavy stuff coming down from my supervisors for that N9 post. Sorry guys, I had a N9, but that was for testing ONLY. accidently posted here with it. Thus having the Sent with my.. added.

Amazign phone however, well worth the wait even without the new firmware coming with mr. Skillman design.

ditto! Great photos! Can't believe I walked past Damien a few times not realising he was Damien. Did this with countless other people who I did not recognize in persons. I can't wait to test out the N8s cam. The only thing it misses out on for me is optical zoom and autofocus video. The former could be achieved with smart cropping and the latter is being worked on possibly for future firmware release.

I think you’re mistaking with an EDoF lens with which everything is indeed in focus. However that is a cheap alternative to the autofocus unit that is in the N8. Ever notice that every professional lens is capable of sharpening the foreground and blurring the background?
It is exactly what our eyes do, focus on the foreground (or background) and the rest gets blurry.

This type of lens allows for much more ‘artsy’ pictures, thus this being the better lens.

On another note, damn: falling in love with the N8 just for the camera. But that E7 is oh so tempting and then the N9 which is just utterly amazing.

Some really good shots in there… hope that the n8 initial firmware isn’t disappointing and buggy like the ol’ n97… will wait for user reviews though before even considering to invest on nokia devices again (after previous “flagship” upsets)…

Hope this time nokia gets it right, or at least close to it.. XD
