Gallery: Nokia N8 versus Sony Ericsson Satio versus Samsung Pixon 12 (Battle of the 12MP cam phones)
GSM Arena has already performed a shootout (blind one in fact in an attempt to reduce bias) of the Nokia N8 against the Samsung Pixon 12. Which as we know, comfortably won, beating out even the dedicated digital camera, the Sony HX5. They said that they didn’t bother with the Sony Ericsson Satio for two reasons – first the Pixon in previous sets has already beaten the Sony Ericsson Satio and secondly, the lack of wide angle in the Satio would make it more obvious.

Nokia N8 followed by Pixon 12 and finally the Satio.
There’s a repetitive washed out effect from the Satio compared to the N8 and Pixon 12.

N8 best camera ever?? jajajajja the pixon 12 is better
Pixon’s all photos were over-saturated, too contrasty and over-sharpened. White balance was many occations wrong. Low light performance was bad.
I can understand that to some that kind of photos might appear appealing even good. But that certainly has got nothing to do with photos looking as natural as possible, which is what I’m personally after. You can always make natural photos look too contrasty, over-saturated and over-sharpened in post-processing. But you cannot do the opposite to Pixon’s photos. You cannot make them look natural.
The problem of saturated color is caused by smart auto option. In normal mode the colors are ok!
In low light, despite the nokia n8 have a larger sensor, it produces much more noise than the pixon 12. And these noises are so strong that no one can remove it using a photo editor.
I’m saying this because I have the two phones.
i prefer satio
a phone has does nt all things so-1st if u r like camera phone i will say u pixon12.(in this price u will mainy slr cameras)
2nd if ur going with os phone camera,internet then go with n8(it has all thing which u want i say go with this)
3rd- if ur go with style then chose satio-(it has all thing like n8 bt camera is nt good in satio in a 12 mp camera.but loking gd in satio.so i say if ur buying a phone then chose n8 or satio n8 is better.if camera then chose pixon12.
