You might try SlideIT keyboard. Available on the OVI for almost a year and works very much like “Swype” – in fact, I prefer SlideIT, which seems to accommodate for the eccentricities of my texting technique better than Swype…

Swype in portrait is hard to use, but typing on it is more easier.

Typing in n97 mini with swype is shit, to slow and always make mistake,

Actually not that bad. Worth giving a go as you’ll speed up in any form of text input given time. And there’s some actual intuitiveness to this (though I can’t get over having to use two hands to use it)

Well normal portrait qwerty is coming to S^3 after that the swype will also work in portrait. How ever I find portrait swype bit hard to use if compare to landscape.

“Speed” isn’t as speedy as I thought.

As soon as I saw the “speedy typing” part at 0:35 I felt challenged to try writing this same paragraph on my N95 so I could see if Swyping really faster. So I took my N95 from my pocket, opened the built-in Notes application and had T9 enabled on English language. Then I played the video at 0:35 and started typing on my phone at the same time as the guy started Swyping. I finished writing the paragraph first. Then wait about 3 or 4 seconds until he would have finished swiping. So, it’s very cool and everything but T9 is still faster (if you know how to use T9), so I appreciate that Nokia has kept the T9 keyboard on portrait (though I would REALLY like an option to enable Qwerty on portrait, instead of being locked to T9).

What I would simply LOVE to have, though, would be BlindType. This looks so much AWESOME and I would definitely love to use it. I would so like this on my new N8! (when it finally ship here, of course).
