But i cant help feeling one of Nokia problems is that they feel like no matter what they do in North America they get burnt.

You only have to look at the rating some so called tech blogs gave the N8 (hell gizcrapo refused to review it ?)

or how the hole Nokia world thing went down ( HTC come sounding great , while nokia get made out to be the bad guy).

That’s exactly what makes this such a great surprise…It was like a bam…Moto didn’t indulge in any sort of controlled leaks or any other thing of the sort and simply announced a phone that can turn into a fairly functional netbook, media centre(through their entertainment feature) and run windows through an online server..and it is just not the features but also the way they have implemented it all to provide a continuous experience…It completely blows my mind…I considered Moto to be a dying brand but now I think it will lead the android bandwagon this year taking away the reins from htc(which keeps making phones more and more ugly) and samsung (who appear to have missed the boat on dual core powered handsets).
That said. I seriously hope meego offers such a continuous experience. May be taking the USB otg feature to a new level. Not sure what is might be but would love it to be as powerful as the Atrix. My next purchase will be in december 2011 and i badly want to fast forward and see what nokia is gonna do. CES has really made me restless. thanks to the hilarious engadget showcasts atleast i am not missing a break in the weekly manga and anime(you’d understand if you watched one piece, naruto, bleach etc.)

We already know that Nokia will be giving us a dual core phone later on in the year so let’s just hope for the best and see what the Mobile World Congress bring us.

Honestly with all of Nokia’s talk to make a bigger impact in North America they need to invest in CES from now on to show what they have to offer and show the North Americans what great hardware is all about.

its not a netbook with a phone dock though since the netbook doesnt work unless you dock your phone to it

No I do not hate motorola. But I do not like the name they have sat on the Atrix, it makes people think that there is a 4G phone though it is a 3G phone.

just like nothing that we dont want to see on other phone maker on ces.
we want to see s3 update ui, meego, qt based ui, and other thing we hope to see.

Not trying to be a fanboy (I don’t like motorola anyway) but I personally do like the concept of a netbook with phone dock. Because not all user have an unlimited plan and sync their phone with the computer all the time so if you can dock your phone into a netbook, it will eliminate the need of sync.

From what you type, I think you hate motorola a lot?
