Video: Sports Tracker on the Nokia N8- an interactive video
Nokia have uploaded an interactive video showing Sports Tracker on the Nokia N8 (with some clips filmed on the Nokia N8).
You can see these options at around 2/3 of the video. It’ll show you how to use Sports Tracker, the training diary, and using additional accessories such as the heart rate belt. There’s also options to check out Ovi Store and download the app itself.
It’s awesome to see what Sports Tracker has become. I still remember using it for Nseries Urbanista on the N82, the first integrated GPS device from Nokia that was actually usable (N95 took ages for GPS locks). This is an app that has followed me across every Symbian device I’ve used.

The best application on my N8… I use this almost every day, way more than maps or music player. It is that good!
The Bluetooth HR belt is really nice combined with sportstracker
Love the potential it has, but it keeps crashing on my N8 after a couple of minutes. Especially frustrating when using it to log some skiing miles, the one thing I don’t do every day unfortunatly.
Fantastic app.I use it when I go cycling. Seeing the stats at the end of my cycling just encourages me to go harder the next day.
Did they finally fix this app so it actually shows the correct speed when you slow down or stop?
@Doug They did. I have no such issues on my N8. It is a great app.. I use it every time I bike, run, or hike..
I was recently considering switching from this to Endomondo as it has a much bigger community and questions seems to get answered unlike with ST which just seems to go into a black hole. Nice to see it’s still supported tho! But Endomondo is seriously tempting because of the active community, cross platform nature (since N8 will most likely be my last Nokia), and all the challenges you can get. The polar HRM is also supported.
Only think holding me back is the thousands of miles worth of tracked activities I’ll loose with the switch
