Advert: Nokia X7 Advert sees return of keyboard cat!
Remember that epic C7 advert that featured keyboard cat? That kitty is back with friends on the X7. Viral dramatic prairie dog is there too, as is an epic slice of fruit ninja and Angry Birds. Good advert. Good direct use of phone to fill all the time. For flagships though, I’d expect ads [...]

According to yugatech, a blog in the Philippines, a survey by Nielsen ad Campaign showed that amongst the top brands in the Philippines, Nokia was in the top 10. This was across all brands, not only technology. And when I said top 10, I mean right at the very top. Number 1! Yugtech cites [...]
Symbian Belle again on E7?
These two images are apparently Symbian Belle on the E7. It looks a lot like Windows Phone lock screen. If by look like we mean wallpaper, clock, date, status bar and notifications (arguably generic – MeeGo Harmattan may be a better comparison – though I do love what they did with notifications on lock screen.). [...]

Pink N8 spotted in Pixie Lott’s new music video
Crisscross spotted a pink Nokia N8 in Pixie Lott’s new music video for her song, All About Symbian. No that’s a lie :p, the song is “All About Tonight”. I think it makes about two appearances. Pixie Lott is quite a big artist in the UK, with a couple of number 1 songs and several [...]
Video: Nokia N950 720p Video Sample – Under Water (and handset comparison)
So zejotkah is testing out the video capabilities of his dev kit Nokia N950 and what better place to put it of course than in a pool. Say what? I’m not sure if he’s put a case around it (most likely) which would deteriorate quality (though youtube has a knack for upping contrast and making [...]
Videos: Powered by Qt, Growing with Nokia. Foursquare, Futurice, AccuWeather, CNN App… #QML
Saw a foursquare video at nokiadevforum and there were a bunch of other neat developer stories (of using Qt) so I thought I’d lump this all in to one post. Foursquare Foursquare co-founder — and long-time Nokia fan — Naveen Selvadurai discusses the latest versions of the foursquare app for Nokia phones from Series [...]

Be one of 30 to Test Drive then Keep (yes, Keep) a Nokia N9 if you’re Swedish enough!

You just download [...]

Aikon171 has spotted a new FCC approval. A Nokia X3-02.5, or RM-775. https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/ The X3-02 is a touch and type S40 handset, one of the slimmest in the Xseries music family line up. I’m not entirely sure what a 0.5 difference will bring. This will carry a 860mAh BL-4S battery.
