Video: Nokia N9 vs Samsung Galaxy S2 Browser and screen comparison
Ahmed Saleem shared this to our facebook page, a video showing the Samsung Galaxy S2 browser against that from the Nokia N9.
They both seem to load sites fairly quickly, with SGS2 slightly edging out the N9, even when loading flash. Panning and scrolling is both comparably smooth, with N9 not producing chequerboarding where SGS2 did.
Screen and image comparison occurs at around the 4 minute mark

video quality isn’t really good enough to be able to make out any meaningful differences in the screen quality.
The video was captured by Nokia N8
Great comparison. Sammy’s screen is brighter but has a blue tint to it, too much saturation leading to loss of detail in the stuffed animal’s picture. Sammy does seem to have a better browser with Flash support. But keeping in mind that the N9 only has a single core ARM as opposed to the dual core, the N9 keeps up very nicely.
Nokia finally has their own competitive mobile OS. Nokia should continue with this OS and creates a n9 successor with dual core processor (Omap 4430) and 4g radio.
you got your hopes up. Elope just killed it.
Elop kills meego …so father is it a sin if I kill Elop?
HI I LOVE U
why all the icons on the SG2 have the Anna-ish look, with the browser icon looks exactly the same? does it run a custom theme or that’s really how the SG2′s UI looks like
The Galaxy SII is runing Go launcher ( N9 MeeGo) theme …

And even has the N9 ringtone
N9 seems to have better colors and contrast but it is hard to tell without seeing it in person.
it also have a beter browser than wp but thats not dificult.
You mean the browser they abondoned to go with WP7′s? Is that one
yeah somw trojan is resppnsible for that. Viruses always do bad things right???
N9 is brighter and thus has better contrast. That is a tested fact. GSMArena did that on their N9 review. Here’s more info about N9′s brightness and it’s competitors:

Wow…..
A capitulation from you that it’s actually okay in some respect w/o WP.
A positive start…
Maybe you really are capable of dropping the emotional bias & enjoying WP alongside Harmattan.
N9 should have been a A9 phone.
Galaxy S II much brighter, both have weird tints though
In actuality N9 is the brighter one. And by a clear margin. GSMArena measured it.
Brightness at 50%:
N9 = 349 cd/m^2
S2 = 231 cd/m^2
Brightness at 100%:
N9 = 596
S2 = 362
Here are GSMArena’s test results:
