Nokia 5800 and Nokia 5530 gets Anna browser (and software update)
AllAboutSymbian reports that the Nokia 5800 and Nokia 5530 have received their software updates, bringing more Anna like expression to Symbian^1. There were reports that the update was cancelled, later it turned out to be just delayed. Well, now it’s here. Of course, to reiterate, the Nokia N97 flagship device obviously gets no love.

lol The the way the N97 gets no mention what so ever from nokia in any updates or anything is quite sad. It’s like they want it to just disappear into oblivion and for people to completely forget about it. It was such a disappointment. I owned one, and you literally couldn’t use it for a single day without it crashing and rebooting. Its phones like the N97 that got nokia to where they are now.

Just got my 5530 out to test this out. I can say that it brings a much needed slide to unlock feature and it brings it the symbian belle web browser, it the but update I’ve ever seem for my 5530. Just took way to long to get it.
Still waiting for Anna anything here, sigh (Aust n8)
No other phone maker gives this level of support for old devices!!!!!
guys i’ve updated, its v60.0.003
this update adds landscape homescreen support, just try it- its so crappy! hope nokia fix this.
my old 5230 has an update v50

I have custon FW which is must better than this Nokia’s original FW.
With C6 and v50 FW I have widgets and ANNA browser too.. and even smilie’s work.
