I’m willing to do without the ffc, nfc, and inferior ram since I like Windows Mango. But this battery life issue is most certainly a deal breaker for me. Some are reporting a 25% decline in juice while idle.

Hi Jay, nice idea on this app-a-day.
Can we have a similar thing for the N9/N950?

I’m finding there’s “at least” 1 app-a-day coming out.
And where there isn’t a top-notch app or one that interests.
There’s almost certainly a clever hack/work-around/fix etc.

wp7 with they way it does multitaksing doesnt need more than 512mb so evene if lumia had 1gb it wouldntmatter
secondly yes you have ffc on n9 but no skype videocalling so there are equally there too

and dont hope that skype will bring videocalling on meego because it wont

Jay, do you find that battery life has actually gotten worse after discharging a few times? That’s what’s being said on the Nokia forums, among others.

I was actually thinking of selling my N9 to a friend who absolutely adores it, and using that money to get the Lumia, but I just can’t bring myself to do it with so many people complaining about the battery, in addition to having half the RAM and no front-facing camera.

If an update is released that seems to fix the problem, I’ll revisit a potential swap of devices.

It is a nice series you are doing to aware common public with what WP offers to them.

By now it has to be clear to everyone (on the blogs at least) that one-in-all smartphone is not possible anytime soon again and technology takes a 180 turn in order to go for money so we need to take at least 2 devices, until technologies of both earth and sky emerges in perfect harmony.
