Yay, Giant Nokia in Paris

If you’ve got something beautiful, enlarge it to 10 meters tall and flaunt it to the rest of world. And that is what Nokia and Windows Phone precisely did as demonstrated in the picture above.

As part of their marketing efforts, Nokia and Windows Phone organized the Windows Phone Santa Claus (Sounds weird, but this is what I got from Google Translate) event at Champs Elysées to celebrate the festive season.   To stay in line with the Christmas theme, children participants of the event can call or message Santa using a normal-sized magenta Nokia Lumia 800 handset and the Giant Lumia aka Windows Phone Santa Claus will then respond to them, sometimes through video conferencing.  It is strange that Windows Phone Santa Claus could video conference as THERE SHOULD BE NO FRONT FACING CAMERA!!!! (Nokia, why you no give us FFC but give Santa FFC!)

Apart from that double standard, the whole event is pretty cool right? And my parents said that Santa Claus wasn’t real.
