Video: “Nokias are invincible” Nokia E63 thrown off a building.
Here’s an interesting video I saw last week.
Since there’s a growing meme that Nokias are invincible some kids decided to test that out by throwing a Nokia E63 from the second storey of their school building over the basket ball court and onto the oval. The E63 flies down recording all the action. Does it break? Crash? To their surprise it continues with the recording. ‘It’s still going!”

Wow!
It landed in the grass. Even my iPhone survived when I tossed it 50 or so feet off a hill into grass. Now, when my N8 went flying against hardwood … didn’t do so well.
mine survived. fell from my hand a couple of times now. my n8 has dents near the loudspeaker,body and a few big dents on the top plastic edges. the earphone jack shiny plastic cover came out. Just glued it back together and no problems so far.
5110-6110-6150 was one of the toughest phone models around. My 6150 fell down once and broke the antena but its still working and can pick up signal still.
Yes i agree that Nokias are tough.

They sound Aussie. But agreed, that was like a 3m drop
Some people have too much time on their hands. :p
But as for the phone itself, wow. That’s pretty good.
Perhaps Nokia is the only brand for tough phones that doesn’t need to produce any special durable specs phone..
Hey..I wonder how could it be when Nokia does produces one. Must be really really invicible
they have special durable phones like 6250 and 3270
They need a recent one, a waterproof Lumia 800 would rule!
I wish Nokia actually made one, the Xperia has a waterproof phone you can actually dump in water or in the ocean and it will still work.

I’d always toss my E62 around to show that it was durable. Everyone would always cringe as it dropped thinking it would break, but the only problem I had with it was the faulty Nav-Stick.
I guess the “Indestructible Nokia 3310″ meme (http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/indestructible-nokia-3310) is based on true facts, after all.
