Video: Nokia Belle Update – same phone, new experience (sorry, no laser guns :p)
Here’s a great video from Nokia to tell their users about the Nokia Belle update. With the same phone you get a totally new experience with Belle. I have it, and I totally agree. Gone are most of the annoyances from S^3/Anna, for the most part, it’s really great to use.
I’ll give mine a day or two to settle in to give a full verdict.
Congrats to the team who made this video I like the bold, confident attitude coming across in the video. Clear, engaging, funny and memorable. Great job!

If one can find an used N8 for cheap. This is looking increasingly attractive with the Belle update, apps notwithstanding.

I’m definitely excited to get this! This just confirms how I wished Nokia had kept pushing for the development of symbian and meego…
But who knows, maybe this update was released on time cause Nokia isn’t programming the software. And, they definitely handled the release in a much better fashion(aka, getting it out to as many users as possible).

Just updated to Belle, I have a 701 so I’m used to it but I’m loving it on my N8, feels like a brand new phone had to re-install swype not a fan of the stock portrait QWERTY. Any way kudos to NOKIA and Accenture for such a great job on Belle. Hope they don’t kill Symbian off until after Donna. If the future Symbian updates run smoother and more efficient then this, then the future for Symbian is looking good.

Anyway tell me the FREE RAM ON BOOT IN 701 and THE STABLE VALUE after running the phone for few minutes?
DO you able to play NFS smoothly as it usually hangs in N8?
Do 1ghz CPU and 128MB GPU really make a significant change in general swiping from heavy app and games as compare to N8?
How about the handling of Opera mobile in 701? How much RAM does it take?

hey jay, i was updating my e7 to belle, but after installing (step3) it says your phone is restarting, and my phone is ringing the nokia tune now for more than an hour now.. what do i do? please help if you can

belle update 275 mb no problems to install
but not sure whats new and better
