I’m sure its a result of some poor timing, but am I the only one who notices they say they have a ‘bounty board’ but all they have is a splash page that takes your email address?

Am I the only one that noticed they said developers are not innovators?

Am I the only one that noticed they say at eventbrite, you can get the full rules at thecodewarrior.com, but that site currently has no rules posted at all?

Am I the only one that noticed they have a category for best dressed? LOL, must be a European thing.

Anyway – long story short, if the scant info we’ve gotten is to be believed, then you can suggest your own app for the bounty board – and at least some of the people winning this contest will just be people whose winPhone projects were nearing maturity anyway – they nominate their own app – they enter their completed app – wa-la a little extra publicity for winning the contest.

For the poor person wanting to actually engage in the contest – not having that head start will make it difficult, and having no access to the bounty board – in reality, its just a splash page, means that time is ticking down for anyone to actually do what MS was hoping people would do – write an app to win the contest.

So little thought has gone into letting people actually have a shot at winning – that *methinks* the marketing people don’t really care about all that – just get us in a room and market to us with their speeches.

Well maybe you get to do that, but I was interested in the contest – shrugs, ashame.
Either they get the bounty board up this week, or forget it.

CodeWarrior is the IDE I used in the 90′s to develop for Palm PDAs, they were quite popular in the day. Visual studio is better then CodeWarrior. That said, BLOOD, SWEAT and CODE resonates quite well with my censes…

They say the complete rules or on a page that doesn’t have any rules at all.
The cnet article claims they have a bounty board – but none to be found.

Yes, I was reading those too. I really don’t wanted to be in developments again but mobiles are very tempting now more than before and I cannot find people to do my ideas. Lol. I will try some.

I have looked at stuff there. Used a tutorial and have published an MNB RSS app, post is drafted, so one it passes QA I will post its link.

Am also doing a full site app complete with commenting

Dude, there are some rather simple and nice tutorials at MSDN… All you have to do is download and install WP7 SDK (Google it, it is a rather simple installation too), head to:

Ummm…. an app that tracks web pages with apps for iPhone/Android etc but not for Nokia
