According to vignesh, India is already rolling out WP 7.5 Refresh/Tango.

Check out the Internet Sharing feature.

You can also see Nokia Store logo. These pics were snapped with a Nokia Lumia 710. Not bad – even after reduction in quality for upload/marking, they’re pretty decent, no?

Here’s the version number:

Thanks vignesh for the tip and photos!

Doesn’t make any difference, according to mobile phone dealers nokia is falling.

    • tabrez says:

Yeah bro ur right..mighty Nokia is now sinking. In India there was a time when we use to see Nokia phones in numbers either in stores or in the hands but now they got replaced by either cheap android craps or plastic craps.
Nokia was the symbol of elegance and loyalty, but now time has changed.
Hope Nokia makes a great come back,as we nokia lovers don’t want to see Nokia to be the next KODAK

      • twig says:

I don’t think it would be in Micros best interest to let Nokia go Kodak, so I think the white knight theory is true.

    • Mark says:

Well thank you for that constructive comment.

      Haters gonna hate I guess.

wats the total free storage on Lumia 710? as, im going to buy it soon.

& cheapest price in India :P …..as 610 wont cum out soon

    • ashutosh says:

free space near about 5 GB (better wait for L610 though, as it packs NFC – removing limitation of file transfers through bluetooth )

      • vignesh says:

Lumia 610 won’t be launched with NFC in India and neither with Bluetooth transfer

        • Janne says:

Yes, Lumia 610 NFC will be a different model from now-released normal Lumia 610.

Normal Lumia 610 does not have NFC. Lumia 610 NFC will have NFC when it launches in the future. The NFC model probably won’t come until summer/fall? Might cost more?

This, if I have understood correct.

      • Gäst says:

I don’t want to spoil your expectations but from what i heard the Lumia 610 with NFC won’t support bluetooth file transfer, it will be as it is now.
It will how ever support other things like NFC payment (paypass).
        But it might be wrong.

    • kunwar says:

about 6.3 gb i own one its quite limiting when u install games /apps and load maps for offline navigation but if you want just abou3-4gb of music on your phone it wud be fine for you

    New camera modes?

  4. Shaik Rasool says:

I was waiting for tango in India. But still cant see it in Zune.

  5. twig says:

HTC one x and evo blocked and now Moto is blocked by Microsoft. Add in Baidu wanting anti android oems for Baidu phone….should get interesting.

    • James says:

“HTC one x and evo blocked and now Moto is blocked by Microsoft.”

Yeah but only for the US… so far…

“Add in Baidu wanting anti android oems for Baidu phone”

      Eh?
Pretty sure Baidu was releasing it’s own line of Android-based phones.

      • Ebon & Unicorn N9s says:

US & Germany seems to the only countries allowing these bans..

        • James says:

          Yeah so far….
Germany was for Apple though wasn’t it.
Don’t think it did anything for MS yet.

I dont think Baidu will feel pressured not to pick Android OEM’s though.
Even if they do there’s a chance they go Tizen instead.
          Partly out of irritation…

      • Grendell says:

If you can’t run, hobble the competition..Microsoft tactics.

    • Ebon & Unicorn N9s says:

Apple & MS playing the game they play the best.. Nothing surprising..

      • Ebon & Unicorn N9s says:

twig, anti android OEMs??? You mean Nokia(MS) and\or Apple (RIM doesn’t come in this since they are very much trying to get android apps to run on Playbook\BB10) will be making Baidu based devices since they are the only anti-android mobile companies..

        • James says:

I think he’s referring to the legal pressure MS can exert to make it less cost effective to consider android OEM’s.
China is coming under more pressure these days to follow international IP laws etc.
          Still, I don’t they’ll blink….

          • Ebon & Unicorn N9s says:

I don’t think China under the current regime will ever follow the International IP laws.. Most of their manufacturing sector will be in big trouble if they do..

The effective cost for OEMs to manufacture Android devices will be lesser than to manufacture a WP device even if MS gets more from an Android device than a WP. Each manufacturer have deals with certain component manufacturers (like Nokia with TI & ST-Electronics for the chipsets) for cheaper components. So they can manufacture for cheaper price (like Moto with TI & Sony with ST for the newer Xperia range) unlike WP.

  9. Felipe Figueiredo says:

Hey Jay, did you see that?

”in just two months, the Microsoft system reached 7% of the Chinese market, surpassing the 6% achieved by the Apple platform.”

    Go Go WP!

  10. kunwar says:

  11. Goc says:
