Lumia 900 Available in Singapore Via SingTel (S$248)
Hot on the heels of the Lumia 900s launch in Finland Last night, Singapore’s carries “SingTel” announced the availability of the Lumia 900 through it starting today, priced at S$248 (193 USD) on contract; however if you prefer to go Solo you can also grab a L900 from the official Nokia store in the region; but it’ll cost you a bit more namely S$ 850 (663 USD)- but it is worth pointing out that the first 5 people to purchase the 900s through the Nokia store off contract also got a free Xbox thrown in… Damn every-bodies getting Xboxes except for me; turns out if I had ordered my laptop two weeks later I would have gotten a free Xbox with that as well, but oh well.

not many singaporeans care about nokia anymore
You are an idiot, Jurong Point Nokia Store sold off all their stock today by 8pm. (30 lumia 900)
I was queuing for the XBox since 6am and there’ve been quite a number of people asking if its Lumia 900, clearly consumer awareness is there.
Also, there’s 2 others that joined the queue with us despite the fact that there’s alrady 5. They bought it at 849 without XBox.
same queue as lumia 800 launch in clark quay? and how many lumia 800 was sold to date in sg? how many lumia users you have seen in singapore?
Now fansheep/isheep or whatever it is, just go back to your hole and gtfo.
I admit, I saw a LOT of your sheeps wandering around in Singapore. Now go away, satisfied? troll.
Actually Ali, the online Singtel shop has it for SGD$48 on a $59.90 FlexiValue contract.

Probably a promotion.
desperate move from nokia based on the price of 900
go away kid
like you tell me, how desperate HTC and Sony as well on their pricing strategy???
I wonder why do haters now started to feel worry because of Nokia Lumia and Nokia 808 wonderful products
what I don’t get is why would you sign a contract for a device that won’t get the full WP8 update in 5 months or so ? They are about to roll a huge update to the platform, and the 900(and you) will most likely be left out..
If Microsoft actually makes the full update available to the older devices, that will be really amazing… but I feel like if that was the case they would be talking about it, which will help sales…
are you stupid? do you think fan boys are the reason why Nokia sell their device? 99% of the people that will buy it don’t know the OS it is running or if it will get any update, they just needed a phone to use…. stop the envy fool because I know it wont get full update so what? you troll advice people to buy the N9 that is known to be dead so why posting shit?
Pot, meet Kettle.
Nokia/Microsoft didn’t even say anything about the update, you are the one being stupid.
If you use Android you might not even get ANY update at all.
Very true. These people are bitching about some upgrades they think Lumia may not get. At the same time most of them are intending to buy the 808, a dead end device with only some minor upgrades on the way.
The Nokia Lumia series provides really nice user experience for those users it’s targeted to. It’s fast, there is software for it and there is a future for the Windows Phone. The Lumia series is not for someone who is not intending to actually use the device but only utilize some specific features.
All of the Android devices may not get upgrades but it’s actually very good system with some really nice features.
I don’t care about the 900.. Hope Nokia Singapore release the 808 within the next 2 weeks or I’m gonna go crazy..!! =P
After the conversion to Malaysian RM, that will be RM 2091, which is the same price as the HTC One X sold here. Pretty pricey, but I already have the 800, so don’t see the need to buy one.
Try Amazon, I bought another one today (AT&T version) at 399 USD.
Around 1329.51 RM after including shipping fees.
Well, I’m not looking forward to buying one since I already have the 800, but will take that into consideration when it comes to recommendations. One thing to note is that I’m Malaysian, so the version that will be released there soon will be the international version, not the AT&T one (not sure if the latter will work given that none of the major operators use 4G yet, and the only one that have it seem to have tied it to their own broadband and mobile devices). In addition, the Malaysian RRP is not announced yet but I hope it will be cheaper than the Singaporean unit.
