Nokia Suite update, v3.5.21.0 (copy content between N9 and your computer)
A couple of weeks back Deaconclgi wrote about the v3.5 Nokia Suite beta which allowed for N9 compatibility.

There appears to be an update to v3.5.21.0. Is this for the regular (non beta) version?

Updated my Nokia suite to v3.5.21 Beta. Just installed PR1.3 update for my N9 via Nokia Suite.
I heard wazzap is incompatible

that’s not true it is fully compatible and works with no problems

It is not available in India officially, although you can buy it from ebay seal packed imported from singapore.
Cannot install maps with it
Syncing works fine though.
I downloaded it yesterday, so I got the new version.
- Contact groups are not synched
- Hardware info does not appear
- Can’t use the Store from the Suite
- MMSs are not synched
- Bookmarks are not synched
But yea! we can make backup copies! Not that I’m ever be able to get another N9 to restore the backup if mine breaks…
And you missed many more features that actually do work, funny that.
and it’s a beta, with a tiny team working on it…
The quesion is if it’s for the regular (non-beta)version or for the beta only, right?
I have the regular Nokia Suite (version 3.4.49) and it claims no updates available, so seemingly this update is for the beta only.
Also, how come I constantly get the grumpy gravatars? Regardless of which screen name I use or topic I reply to the gravatar *always*, no exceptions, looks angry. It’s as if WordPress knew me personally.

Whats the point of doing this? As of yesterday the final nail was put into the Maemo/Meego coffin in the shape of PR1.3 coffin. Nokia danced with the devil and now i hope Nokia burn in hell
This & PR1.3′s point is that they solidify the OS that little bit more. And deliver something we weren’t 100% sure we’d get at all…
Sure there’s shit-loads of issues that haven’t been resolved.
But its still pretty damn impressive, given the the circumstances they’ve found themselves in.
Jeff savor this update as its the last we will ever see, same for lumia owners they have brought dead end devices, if you want windows 8 you have to buy a new phone and i feel sorry for people who took out a 24 month contract a month or so ago to find that Elop has shafted them. I hope Nokia go bust real soon as thats what they deserve. And as for this Nokia suite update, its a waste of time.

i just dont get this, MeeGo is dead, why they bother to make it compatible with NS, it’s like it gives no function at all
Earlier versions of Nokia Suite worked with the N9, then they deliberately removed the support and nudged the N9 users towards Nokia Link for some reason…
Meego deserved better than this!
