My Dream Nokia #52: Nokia N8-08 PureView 41MP Symbian Concept
Found these on DeviantArt by LokiBartleby. It’s a very interesting design for a Nokia N8-08 concept.
It features a 41MP sensor, with xenon and Dual LED flash.
The design is somewhat more N9/800 like. Flat top and bottom, curved front.
You can see from here this is another Symbian phone.
The keys also look to be solid buttons as opposed to capacitive.

I’m sure you’ve dreamt up your PERFECT Nokia device/UI. What it would look like, what it would feel like, what features it would have. Why don’t you share it with the world? Or at least with other Nokia fans

It could be your own photoshopped or rendered work (seriously, you don’t need mega skills in either, basic paint job is often enough to convey a concept) of your dream product.

Who knows, maybe an image might flutter over to Nokia and through whatever route end up being real

Of course a full PureView sensor would require a bump but it wouldn’t need to be this thick all over. I don’t know if it is technologically possible to reduce the size of the full 41 MB sensor but if so I hope they are working on that for the Lumia model, though it certainly will not stop me from getting one if they don’t.
My dream Nokia would be a high-end, sleek Lumia with a detachable 41MB PureView with a 5MB FFC for when it’s detached.
And now you know why they designed the 808 the way they did instead of making it straight edged/n8 like
If this was an iPhone, the camera bump would be some kind of coolness that benefited the phone in the hand – it’s easier to hold, silly. The twin LEDs remind me of the N900 Maemo strobing at a pack of cards thrown in the air. Can a single LED strobe that fast and then capture the final picture with xenon?
i prefer the actual 808 design. Applying a n9 style (and something of nokia x6) on a 808 isn’t good, because the sensor of the camera is still too big.
This is exactly what 808 should have been… I would even add… Would have been without the moron currently acting as NOKIA CEO
So reason the 808 looks like it does and not like this is because of Elop? Ok…..
remove thickness,sink the camera in alittle and remove the front button for swipe…and you’ll have a winner

I would love a phone like that, i think the e7,n97 and the n95, are my Favorite shaped phones.I am excluding the software however. my dream, that Symbian could be perfected.
