  2. Zymesh says:

got the skydrive app via OTA for my v309 808 philippine variant a few weeks back.

Any luck for the N8 this time?

    • DP_Ind says:

This is already available for N8. Only caveat is that you need atleast 49MB of free space in C drive to install it.

      • sunnyvale says:

Well, I wish good luck to some people, as having almost 50 mb in C is quite difficult when additional software is installed. I’ ve seen my C space going down after installing some maps and other apps.

That woul be helpful’. As would being able to remove thr unnecessary parts of the suite like Lync and communicator. I just want Excel, Word and Power Point.

So can anyone say what is new in this update?

  6. schwermetall says:

I read in some reviews in the Nokia Store that the MS apps will slow down the N8 and that some people will lost datas like contacts.
The MS office will also be slower than QuickOffice.
    Can anybody confirm this issues?

    • arts says:

i can confirm that all that touches the tainted apps of elop will die.

So to prevent all elop influences, you should migrate back to Pr 1.0, which is the pure nokia experience.

      • Ronald says:

Personally i loved PR.1 too. but Belle is a welcome’d upgrade. sad to see that Symbian will dissolve just when i caught up usability wise. Dont know what OS i will invest in after this. Dont like windows phone one bit and the build quality on the droid phones are tripe..hmmm

MS Apps 2.0 is good but the thing is it doesn’t show the office files like as on PC.
