    Seriously, Swag-bag… Really?

But it’s a nice bag, full of really nice stuff.

    • Jay Montano says:

      A bag of swag.

Unfortunately, swag is now some teeny bopper word for being an imbecile or having the attitude/gait of an imbecile (though they think they are cool), when it means valuable/free gift stuff in this context.

  2. Cod3rror says:

When is the HH-23 phone holder for tripods is going to be available for sale?

Jay, you’ve got connections at Nokia, can you get me one please?

  3. Michael says:

How … how can I buy this? At least the Nokia bag, that’s … awesome. I can add my own 808 : )

    • can't be helped says:

i also want to know where can i buy the nokia bag,

nokia 808, nokia case, screen protector, spare battery(well, n8 battery is compatible), tripod, tripod holder and the roll up hdmi are the essential things for pureview

  4. arts says:

    awesome accessories. =D

  5. pureviewfan says:

    off topic,

can i use joikuspot on nokia 808 with dlna enabled hd tv for viewing music, video and image on hd tv?

    • dss says:

You can use DLNA with DLNA Play, which comes pre-installed on the phone

      • pureviewfan says:

i dont have the home network, can i setup the network using joikuspot on 808 to share media to dlna enabled tv from 808 phone?

someone said phone and the tv need to connect to the same network in order to transfer media over dlna.

  6. shallow ocean shoal says:

I found it to be a slap in the face that they sent all this stuff to all the reviewers, it got great reviews, and then none of it was available to actually buy! That is bullshit!

After a LOOOOT of searching, I got:
    - cyan DC-16 from Hong Kong from ebay (looks like now avail through importer on amazon)
    - nokia micro hdmi I never found for sale ANYWHERE, so I bought generic via monoprice.com
    - tripod mount and case FINALLY are shipping on amazon after being missing in action for a long time, and still says 1-4 months to apparently scare off other customers
    - Golla Carol bag from ebags.com (that’s the first 808 swag bag, better than this one)
    - Joby Original Gorillapod which was in the first swag bag

What the heck is wrong with nokia making the stuff impossible to buy? It feels like a scam if reviewers are reviewing all this stuff and adding to their experience, and it doesn’t actually exist for the little people.

They could have put all this stuff in one big accessory kit and sold it as a package and made loot, what is wrong with them? Maybe they will for wp8 lumias.

    • SLAYER says:

      have to agree

    • mokia says:

I am asking those things to myself also, so I agree completely. Finding them products is like a quest. Only the mainstream products like lumias and el cheapo Nokias is finding easy. But the great products are pain in the ass to get hands on. I like symbian but they where to slow making it up to date. So all bets go to lumias.

    • Zymesh says:

i want to get the tripod mount and the hdmi since its portable due to its case but cant find any here even in official Nokia stores.

  7. FURT says:

‘Swag’ is starting to become an alternative word for ‘stupid.’ It’s not cool, you know. Especially when you say it to describe such a good piece of kit to an iconic smartphone – it’s a degradation.

More and more people are hating the word ‘swag’, so please…

  8. Jakob says:

The word is “schwag” not “swag” guys!
