The so-called anonymous individual familiar with Samsung has no clue. My source tells that the firewall is real. Samsung is divided between DS (components) and DMC (phones/TVs) units (in addition to Networks, PC and white goods units) which are virtually independent to each other. The annual PS (profit sharing) bonus is determined on the basis of individual unit’s performance. So DS people used to cheer when iphones were doing very well. As for bendy display.. give me a break.. Nokia does not build its own panels, and the tech is all Samsung’s.
