Video: N950 Lock Screen Bug is Harmless – Allows no access

I was meant to post this the other day, but got caught up in work.

Jay posted about the Harmattan lock screen bug on the N950. Sure, in this day and age, privacy is a big deal and lock screen work arounds are pretty big issues. I had tested this on my N950 when I first saw it a few weeks back, but seeing as I got the result you’ll see in the video, I figured why post about something thats just plain misleading.

Since Gizmodo has done the misleading part, I figured why not show the truth. So here it is:

As you can see, there is NO ACCESS to anything. The N950 automatically locks itself after a second or two. Now, the N950 in this video is running Stock PR 1.3 , so I got hold of an N950 that was on an earlier version of Stock Harmattan (so early in fact, its a pre-release beta). Guess what? The N950 locks itself straight away as well!
