More growth for WP (Nokia) in UK, Germany, France, Italy and Australia. 8.4% in GB

More steady growth for WP. From the 3 months ending in April 2013, WP with the main pusher, Nokia, sees UK share climbing to 8.4%. from 4.0% the previous year.

  • Italy is at 10.5% from 6.7%, 
  • France at 6.2% from 2.5%
  • Germany at 6.4% from 4.1%
  • USA at 5.6% from 3.8%
  • Australia at 5.1% from 4.1%

EU in general, 6.7% from 3.7%. Spain goes to 1.5% from 2.5% with speculation of better conscious pricing by competitors there. Apart from Spain, WP seems to be doing well.  BlackBerry makes a loss across the whole board. But that is year on year remember.

According to Kantar World Panel:

Nokia’s Lumia devices were the key models driving success for the Windows OS.
