Transfer my Data is an exclusive lumia app to transfer your contacts data from phones like symbian, ios, etc to your lumia device at ease.

The latest update for the app now enables backing up your information onto an SD card (rather than transferring over bluetooth), technically this should also mean that you can restore the contacts/messages from your own device back onto it after a hard reset (provided the device has a Micro SD card of course).

Grab the update from the store at the link below:

Transfer my Data is a quick and easy way of copying contacts from almost any phone (Symbian, Android, iOS, BlackBerry, Windows Phone and others) to your new Windows Phone using Bluetooth. Some phones may also be capable of transferring text messages and pictures, including many Nokia phones. Transfer my Data copies all your contacts into the Windows Phone People Hub, from where it’s easy to call, mail, chat or follow friends on your favourite social network. On supported phones, contacts can also be exported to and imported from an SD card.

Changelog:
– Expanded compatibility for SD card import of contacts
– Usability, performance and localization improvements
– Bug fixes

Exclusively for Nokia Lumia
