MNB RG: Jolla Pre-order info

From the trusty Janne who’s keeping us up to date on the latest info about the Jolla preorders:

Last Friday Jolla started sending invitations to finish the pre-orders from first and second pre-order rounds. They must be paid by December 2nd:

Initially Jolla will come on sale with white The Other-Half only.

Also, Jolla has provided details about the Limited Edition The Other-Half for 1st round 100 euro pre-orders. It will come in Poppy Red, and I gather will be mailed separately in December to 100 € pre-orderers:

Finally, Jolla will start selling non-pre-order phones through DNA operator stores in Finland in December, once the pre-orders have been sent out in chronological order. Rumored date is December 7th.

So, in closing the Jolla release timeline as known at this time:

1) November 14th and following days, invitations for first pre-orderers sent out to register for first sale event.
2) November 20th and following days, confirmations sent out to registered invitees for the first sale event.
3) Starting from November 22nd through this week, invitations will be sent to complete pre-orders online, in chronological order.
4) First 450 Jolla phones sold November 27th in Helsinki special event for invited pre-orderers who have registered and been confirmed.
5) Rest of the pre-orders must be paid by December 2nd.
6) Pre-orders will be sent out in the order which the orders were made, respecting the above deadline dates of course. I assume they will start shipping on or around December 2nd. This includes international pre-orders and both first and second round pre-orders. All Jollas at this point will come with white Other Halfs.
7) DNA operator stores in Finland start selling Jolla to non-pre-order customers and the online store will open for select European market countries.
8) Sometime in December 100 € limited edition pre-orders will get their exclusive Poppy Red Other Half. Also, second round pre-orders have their Jolla knitted cap to look forward to.
