Absolutely gutted. My 1020 has survived greater falls, but perhaps it was just unlucky this time with the 1520. Sitting on the bus, the 1520 slid out of my pocket onto the floor. I thought it picked up some dust on the screen but it turned out to have cracked!

The screen was initially still usable but the BING button is having some spasms and so I can’t do anything without the BING button being pressed straight after.

I’ve contacted/visited some repair places but none have 1520 screens at the moment.

I actually just ordered a wallet case (I like to keep my phone and cards together as then they’re all in one place) which would possibly help reduce the little micro scratches that the 1520 had been obtaining from simply being in a pocket.

The polycarbonate is fine. The impact was low, kinda like fragility fracture in an osteoporotic individual.

That’s a shame really as I’ve just picked up a new Three SIM.

It’s somewhat less visible with the screen on. 1520WP_20140130_12_13_31_Pro

Clearly FAKE. No sinkhole was produced when this fell.
