Screen Shot 2014-03-12 at 17.12.13Here’s a promo for Nokia’s Treasure Tag accessory. From the feedback we’ve read from your comments it seems that you want these to be made smaller and cheaper. Size-wize, they’re not too cumbersome. Perhaps for strength/battery/other required internals, there may be some room for improvement. Price wise, I guess if it were closer to around 10USD, these would fly off the shelves as it would be much more feasible to buy multiple tags and thus keep an eye on multiple objects.

You can find items by making them ring or find your phone by pressing a button on the tag to make your phone ring. Should a device approach the limit distance, it will begin beeping to indicate it is getting out of range. Once out of range it will remember the location on the map so you know when it was last connected and WHERE. Future applications may include augmented reality.

This isn’t just for Nokia Lumia, but also for Android and iOS.

“Needs device with BT 4.0 Bluetooth Low Energy and Treasure Tag application. Works with phones with Windows Phone 8 with Black Software release, Android 4.4 and iOS 6.0.”
