Miracast Dongle in the works from Microsoft for wireless HD streaming

WP8.1 (at least with Cyan and appropriate hardware 930/1520) does wireless HD streaming. The 930 does this very simply and my TV picks it up quite easily (one of the only ways the Smart Feature has provided useful).

Now, I don’t know why folks just can’t use miracast dongle from other manufacturers instead of waiting for this one from MS. Perhaps it would allow more WP devices (or is this still a hardware restriction from the handset side?). Or maybe reduce the slight lag (only noticeable when playing fast action games)

Well, I guess it would be nice to have an ‘approved’ device of sorts that would be useful for travelling or just being able to stream to different TVs easily.
