TheJollaBlog notes some changes for Sailfish OS in next update (number 9) for Jolla.

The intended changes include: UI changes such as an indicator glow for forward and backward to indicate that there’s more content either left or right of the screen.

The accounts framework has undergone quite a bit of unification so hopefully there’s more user friendliness when setting up accounts.

There’s a few more other stuff including a redesigned app catalogue to make it easier to cancel/accept actions, as well as search support in media player, copy unsaved numbers from call log, Kazakh keyboard, improved control for AGPS, automatically saving emails upon exit, improving performance of the homescreen and application memory use and fixing a bug which made the camera overwrite media.

We’re not quite done yet. The browser engine gets an update to Gecko 31 for improved compatibility and improved scrolling and some other stuff.
