Xbox’s Phil Spencer promises to bring Minecraft to WindowsPhone

In response to Talal al Reyami who asked Xbox Chief, Phil Spencer if he could promise to bring Minecraft to Win8.1 Surface and WP8.1, Phil simply replied “Yes”.

Whilst it seems that 2.5 billion dollar purchase indicated a ‘duh’, let’s not forget the 8 billion Microsoft has spent on Skype and precisely how well WP users area treated with their version of skype as opposed to what can be seen in other platforms.

Tom Warren says that the universal app route might be the most logical way to bring it to the Windows tablet/phone .

Well, we couldn’t really get more blocky than the metro like minecraft, eh? A game that you could say is composed entirely of 3D tiles.
