Microsoft Smartwatch in the coming weeks?

There’s plenty of reports everywhere that Microsoft will be releasing a smartwatch in a few weeks time.

Forbes says that Microsoft’s watch will have a 2 day battery life which if true puts it above the pack that requires a daily charge.

What angle would MS go for? Microsoft has a lot of history in sensor tracking; key in a market much more interested in health monitoring.

This won’t be restricted to Windows only and is aimed to be cross platform. Hopefully not at the expense of WP users having a worse version (it’s not unheard of by Microsoft)

It’s still pretty much gimmicky at this stage for most people. What would make you want to wear a smart watch?
