This is an interesting looking theme. We’ve seen plenty of iPhone style themes and skins for Nokias but I think this is one of the better ones – it’s also nicer than a ‘skin’ because it works with the actual phone UI. It’s just coloured/themed to look more like iOS. Now that might make some instantly wince at the thought of iOS on their Nokia but others might like it.

There’s some custom effects done (part of the custom firmware) otherwise, it looks pretty nice.  The zooming out to minimise is much better than the random spinning one.

This video shows a very high quality “iphone like” theme for symbian belle devices. My device is running on a CFW (AminKing v9) but it will look almost the same on any symbian bell device. My device has some Widgets and some theme effects that are not available on regular firmware phones.

I thought I would post about the N900. Not sure how many of you out there are still using it, but I noticed this a few weeks back, and since I posted about the N9 going N900 with the widgets, I saw it fitting to post this.

There is now a Harmattan theme for the N900. The theme comes with the MeeGo/Belle style icons, Nokia Pure? (images suggest not but comments suggest it is possible?), Lockscreen music controls, MeeGo Statusbar (lockscreen only?) and a few more features I believe.

Sadly I don’t have an N900 to test this on, but it looks quite promising. It is one of the few themes that is still getting support and development.

Jay showed you guys that there was a hack to change the background , and today I am showing you the simplest way to get it enabled, regrettably using the Apple line “there’s an app for that.”

The app is called Home Screen Background Settings, and is a GUI that allows the user to change the 6 homescreens (3 portrait, 3 landscape). I have been using it and it’s really good. Only thing I wish was improved was the reboot to take effect, as I know it’s not necessary. (Only need to refresh the screens using commands).

You must have PNG files in your home folder, otherwise the app won’t detect anything. Tested to work with both PR 1.1 and 1.2.

Update: Apparently having 1.1 leads to an events screen bug, in which the content disappears. Only the feed icon and banner are displayed.

You’ll notice a very prominent new icon styling that resembles some old Nokias (7600 and 7610).

The 11 O’Clock theme (BST) moves to something slightly lighter again. This is a premium theme that is temporarily free. This one is by PiZero Design.

This has a very autumn feel with those orangey-yellow bokeh light things going on there.

Today we’ll be showing quite a bit of themes that DM tipped us yesterday. Since I may not be on a computer until evening GMT time (moving back to Manchester), I thought that would be a good opportunity to show some very nice themes. You’re definitely going to want to check those out as they look great.

As promised, the first one I want to share from DM’s list is WoodBerry by O3one Kinetics - I’d suggest getting it now whilst it is free at Ovi Store.

It has a classic, mysterious looking dark panelling wallpaper going on there which is consistent throughout the theme. Overall, it works together and does look great.

This theme is a very blue theme, with minimalist square icons of its own (though default/Anna icons will permeate if you have it).

Another day another theme. After seeing our post on the transparent S^3 theme, RagzReddy emailed us asking to try his transparent theme too.

This is pretty much completely see through. See the keyboard and dialpad has no key separation either. Apparently there’s a way to make the wallpaper show through (as we learn, like Maemo 5 is coming to Belle) but I don’t know how to do that.

This installs as NK’D (nekked?).

Is a very nice black and white minimalistic theme.
