Update: This is the new tips page. The old one has been so fortunate with many tips from MNB readers but the page became too bulky and unresponsive. Thank you to all those tippers on that page and apologies for the inconvenience as the tips page had slowed down. Thanks to those who gave us feedback about it.

The older tips are visible at:

nokia share is on the rise. and look what all the banks and analysts who said nokia is ”junk”, are doing. while they were screaming doom, they were buying cheap nokia shares and increasing their stakes in the company. i guess wall street really is filled with crooks. first they say nokia is in danger, stock goes down, then they buy stock at cheap price, and say nokia has a future and you should buy, thus ensuring they make money. they manipulated the stocks bassically

    • AlOnE says:

      Nokia is done.
      what’s next? acquisition by microsoft?
the essence of Nokia basically diminished totally

      • Peter L says:

You think he’s the only single person in the world capable of working in his position? Sucks to be you, I heard overreacting people die younger.

      • Pdexter says:

Lol, Dinning leaves and the over 150 people over at Tampere who are actually behind PureView, N8, N93 etc and suddenly all is lost.

Apple has lost more important people on their core and they do well.

Somebody is a bit melodramatic here.

  8. Reena Naik-Smith (abhay_naik) says:

I am standing in an AT&T store in Portland, ME. The agent here is trying to sell a HTC to a customer by telling him that the HTC is more powerful than the lumia 920. He is telling the customer that HTC is expensive because it is much advanced than the nokia lumia. He even told the customer that the screen on the htc is better than Nokia
the worst thing, customer now wants put $50 more to get the “better” htc phone…

I hope Nokia takes my comment seriously. If guys like these from At&t start misleading customers in the shop, I am sure Nokia will have a hard time selling these lumias.

PLEASE:, create a post regarding this. people from Nokia are probably reading your blog. and this might alert them!!thx

    • Viipottaja says:

Man that first “swipe from app to go to homescreen” looked confusing.. you can hardly tell what’s happening. They really need to, IMHO, work on the transparencies (or rather, reduce them) it would seem… :(

  10. Pica pica says:

The CEO of Jolla, Marc Dillon, answers some Sailfish questions:

-how to get back to homescreen?
-how many apps is shown open at the same time?
    -is there a landscape mode?
    -how to close an app?
    -using open apps multitasking cards

  16. M says:

Just letting everyone know that Nokia put in a few select locations eligible for that Nokia holiday headset promotion. Sometimes I think its best if Nokia didn’t even try with these offers and get people’s hopes up. Not to mention I had my offer cancelled by att five times before I just went to a Microsoft store and picked one up.
