Tips

Update: This is the new tips page. The old one has been so fortunate with many tips from MNB readers but the page became too bulky and unresponsive. Thank you to all those tippers on that page and apologies for the inconvenience as the tips page had slowed down. Thanks to those who gave us feedback about it.

The older tips are visible at: http://mynokiablog.com/tipsarchive

Got a tip or article suggestion you’d like to share with MNB’s readers?

Emailed tips may be published faster than the comments as that still currently relies of manual checking. We’ll credit the name/username you give us or can leave you anonymous if you wish.

Fresh interview with Elop by YLE (Finlands BBC).
He talks about the current situation and more.
Doesn’t say anything dramatic, but if you read a little between the lines, you can see growing optimism, probably based on demand?!

Please , please write an article about this . It seems that microsoft is hell bent on promoting only HTC 8x (lumiawannabe) nowadays. And their tv commercials and ads show only the HTC 8x in action.
    For egs : http://wmpoweruser.com/microsoft-targeting-working-women-with-latest-cupcake-windows-phone-ad/
Even the latest Hobbit movie cross promotion has the HTC 8x in action
    http://wmpoweruser.com/microsoft-kicks-of-the-hobbit-windows-phone-cross-promotion/

In the last paragraph of the below article , bloomberg cites that 70% of Windows Phone 8 ads feature the 8X Windows Phone, including Steve Ballmer’s “this is my Windows Phone” ad. So, it seems that microsoft wants htc 8x to have better sales than nokia lumia 920.

Saw a few ads yesterday on TV with 920 in them. So yeah, maybe 8x is in a lot of MS ads but its not ONLY 8x. Second, not much sense advertising a lot more something for which the sales seem to continue to exceed supply (I.e. 920) anyway!
