Tips
Update: This is the new tips page. The old one has been so fortunate with many tips from MNB readers but the page became too bulky and unresponsive. Thank you to all those tippers on that page and apologies for the inconvenience as the tips page had slowed down. Thanks to those who gave us feedback about it.
The older tips are visible at: http://mynokiablog.com/tipsarchive
Got a tip or article suggestion you’d like to share with MNB’s readers?
email us at tips@mynokiablog.com

leave a comment below
Emailed tips may be published faster than the comments as that still currently relies of manual checking. We’ll credit the name/username you give us or can leave you anonymous if you wish.

new, interesting concept, ultrapixels.

Vindicated.
33 Million profit, a 90% drop from $366 million. Future outlook bleak.
All this, without a major organizational reshuffle AND with a strategy that is running full steam ahead.
Probably this was tipped by others already, but Android powered Vertu rumored, and with 10% of Vertu still owned by Nokia, perhaps now those crying after Android on Nokia can stop?

in other news, HTC has the balls to tease and quote some reviewer who has said 808 “megapixels don’t help you at all”. Wonder who that idiot reviewer was.. Eldar?
I think there we many finnish photographer “experts” who said so without seeing / using the device as well.

Elop talked about component supply constraints, not assembly capacity, in the recent interview in Australia.
that was something what I was wondering. I think they said that also during results presentation and why I was wondering why Ihamuotila had mentioned capacity (or was been misquoted)
Good Demand, serious delivery problems inChina.

Could it really be due to capacity as Ihamuotila puts it? Maybe thry should have kept Salo for one more year?
oops, meant the above as a comment to Jiipee.
They say they ordered 90,000 units (and got 30,000 from Nokia). In the biggest shopping season. In China.
That doesn’t look like good demand to me…

Pretty sure that’s an Asha device… looks like the 306 in fact-
Nope, 306 corners are tapered, the camera module position/shape is different, front speaker location different, back speaker grille shape different.. Looks like a different model to me for sure.

Very irrelevant, but I think a saw a Lumia 800 on yesterdays episode of Top Gear. A guy took a photo of a mustang on the ferry in Dover haha.
