Update: This is the new tips page. The old one has been so fortunate with many tips from MNB readers but the page became too bulky and unresponsive. Thank you to all those tippers on that page and apologies for the inconvenience as the tips page had slowed down. Thanks to those who gave us feedback about it.

The older tips are visible at:

Nokia recruits City analysts to ‘understand opportunity’ of social media

Nokia is hiring City analysts to improve the way it uses digital and social-media data for marketing campaigns, according to one of its senior marketers.

Apparently, the problem is marketing. The solution is to hire more consultants.

Now, how this tipping really works?

Nokia Netherlands and KPN have responded to newssite concerning the leaked Lumia phone in the KPN commercial.

Nokia says: ‘It’s not a Nokia phone, ask KPN’
KPN says: ‘We are investigating the situation’

  6. ryfsap says:

It’s very strange to see the phone like that in that shot. I saw the commercial numerous times and I was sure it was a Lumia 920 (watched closely last week to be sure). Yesterday i noticed that it was a diffrent phone and suddenly it’s on every blog. Perhaps they changed something? Or maybe two different shots with two different phones? Nokia Netherlands and KPN have a close relationship now so who knows!

  7. Viipottaja says:

What is going on with StatCounter in Finland, I wonder. Series 40 has been making unrealistic gains in the recent days. I wonder if Xpress Browser proxy servers are located in Finland and StatCounter recently started counting proxied requests as originating from Finland…?

Series 40 attributed to 20.34% of mobile traffic in Finland yesterday, according to the “data”. Everyone else dropped respectively, with iOS dropping the most… Unless Asha became an overnight hit, something is way off here. :)
